Things to See in Southern Sumner County

The folks who live in Sumner County often refer to the southern part of the county as "below the ridge."  Nashville and the south part of Sumner County are in a basin.  The Cumberland Plateau rises up about two hundred feet just north of Nashville, and the northern part of Sumner County is "above the ridge."  While TN 52 doesn't go into the southern part of Sumner County, there are still some interesting things to see there.
