In the old days, farmers used to bring their goods to town using a horse and buggy. Classic Motorcycles, Motorcycle Memorabilia, and Motorcycle Clothing.  Classic Chicago-style hot dogs.  In 2006, Cyclemos moved from its downtown Nashville location to the picturesque mountain town of Red Boiling Springs.  Every road leading to this quaint little mountain town (known for its historic bed and breakfasts) winds through rich farmland and beautiful mountain ranges.  The motorcycle riding in this area is some of the best Tennessee has to offer!  Mike Silvio, owner of Cyclemos Motorcycle Museum has been involved with antique motorcycles since the age of 14 when he inherited his uncle's restored 1936 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead.  Besides the Knucklehead, the Cyclemos collection includes a vast array of American motorcycles dating back to 1915.

Defeated Creek Park is located on Cordell Hull Lake, a Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) lake in Smith County, Tennessee, just north of Carthage.  Here you will find boating, fishing, camping, hiking, swimming, a sandy beach, picnic tables and other recreational opportunities.

Cordell Hull Dam, just north of Carthage, forms Cordell Hull lake. The dam and lake are one of many in the area which provide hydroelectric power. The lake is managed by the United States Army Corps of Engineers.  The dam, powerhouse and lock are not open to the public. However, there is a nice parking area where you can view the massive structure.  Cordell Hull Dam is about two miles north of TN 25 just off TN 283.  There are picnic tables along the drive leading from TN 283 to the dam.  For a map, please see the Defeated Creek Park page.
